Dinner debate with the new candidates for the Geneva Administrative Council
On January 29, GVA2 organized a dinner-debate with four new candidates for the Geneva Administrative Council: Joelle Bertossa (PS), Natacha Buffet-Desfayes (PLR), Boris Calame (PVL), and Marjorie de Chastonay (Les Verts). The event, moderated by Serge Michel, Editor-in-Chief of Heidi.news, and Adam Said, President of GVA2, took place in a relaxed but lively atmosphere, with some 50 members in attendance.
The candidates addressed a number of key issues, such as mobility, the purchase of Zep’s house, the deficit in the accounts, whether or not to strengthen state services and hence the number of civil servants. Even if we didn’t manage to get everyone to agree on these subjects, we enjoyed listening to them and exchanging views in a very relaxed atmosphere. A report on the discussions available here (in French).
A second dinner is scheduled for February 18 with the outgoing candidates: Marie Barbey-Chappuis (Le Centre), Alfonso Gomez (Les Verts) and Christina Kitsos (PS). Another opportunity for our members to get informed and take an active part in discussions on the future of our beautiful city.
